Everything is better when it’s natural, including the things we put on in our bodies. Natural Skin Care comes in two forms; skincare we make ourselves with the items we have available in our fridge or pantry and products that are made with natural ingredients and can be bought at a local health food store or supermarket that sells this type of product.
If you wish to start using natural products, start by determining what type of skin you have. Is it dry, oily or combination. This will determine what ingredients are best for you. Ingredients like coconut oil, olive oil and fruit and vegetable extracts are all considered natural and good for the skin. Learn to read labels and avoid products with lots of hard-to-pronounce ingredients.
Switching to natural is not only good for the exterior of your body but for the inside as well. You can feel better knowing that toxins will not be creeping into your bloodstream where they can build up and cause other issues over the long term.
