Organic white wine isn’t always easy to find, although it’s worth trying to track some down for the various health benefits it has. Wine grown organically is produced without the use of pesticides, fertilizers and other chemicals that are typically involved in non organic wine production. Organically grown wine also contains fewer additives and sulfites; most additives contain free radicals which have been cited as contributing to Alzheimer’s, cancer and cardiovascular disease. Organic wine also has no sugar added to it, unlike wines produced conventionally, and drinking wine made organically can actually help you to lose weight and lower body cholesterol. And because the grapes that are used aren’t treated with chemicals during the growing process, wine that’s produced organically is much better for the environment as well as for you. You may even decide that it tastes a lot better too.
